The NDE-1 electric nose dragger is the perfect electric tug solution to move nearly any nosewheel plane under 4,000. The NDE-1 works by capturing the nosewheel in a secure gate, then, with the power of two 12-volt batteries and an electric transaxle, smoothly dragging it on the ground in both forward or reverse.
The NDE-1 will easily secure most fairing and non-fairing nosewheels of planes under 4,000lbs. To safely connect to planes with fairings, the unit requires at least 3” of clearance from the ground to the bottom of the wheel pants. We suggest double checking our measurement to confirm the required clearance, because inadequate clearance can damage both the unit and the fairings. The NDE-1 is designed to pull aircraft on a smooth, flat surface or on a rain-grade surface with no more than a 1-2% grade.
